Job Description:
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Information Security Engineer focused on TPM & TPSA (Third-Party Management & Third-Party Security Assurance) activities. The role is based in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Information Security Engineer will be responsible for managing and safeguarding third-party systems, conducting thorough security assessments, coordinating with stakeholders to address vulnerabilities, implementing security measures, and ensuring compliance with relevant security frameworks and standards.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge and experience in Application Security, Information Security, and Cybersecurity
- Expertise in Network Security and Information Security Management
- Ability to conduct security assessments and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Proven problem-solving skills and attention to detail in identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities
- Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, or equivalent, are highly desirable
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams
- Experience in working with Third Party Risk Management or Security Assurance frameworks is a plus
Scope of Work:
- TPM Requests Management
- Handle and review TPM requests
- Update local inventory
- Determine TPSA type and the following action
- Perform email communications and follow-ups
- TPSA Assessments
- Prepare TPSA application forms
- Coordinate with EY for TPSA assessments (New / Reassessments / Reverse TPSA)
- Create shared folders for EY
- Conduct due diligence and prepare related forms
- Review past TPSA risk reports for open issues
- Inventory & Reporting
- Update local inventory and GIS inventory (monthly)
- Maintain the TPSA dashboard in Power BI and prepare the TRS Forum slides
- Publish updated dashboards and charts
Prerequisites:
- Ability to install and use Power BI
- Familiarity with TPSA processes and due diligence requirements
- Strong communication skills for email coordination and weekly follow-ups
